Suzuki Slingshot


Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today launched the much awaited Suzuki SlingShot. The 125 cc Suzuki SlingShot was launched in the presence of senior Suzuki Motorcycle India officials.



Targeted at the mass segment, the Suzuki SlingShot is positioned to fill the void that currently exists between the 100 cc and the 150 cc segments without compromising on the key parameters that a customer aspires for – style of a 150 cc and the efficiency of a 100 cc bike. The Suzuki SlingShot underscores Suzuki’s commitment to introduce products of global standards that meets an Indian customer’s requirement. 

At the launch of the Suzuki SlingShot, Mr. Katsumi Takata, Chairman, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Inspired by its bigger siblings the GSX-R series, the Suzuki SlingShot boasts of sharp edgy head lamps, an all new front fender design and a convenient gear position indicator for ease in riding in city traffic. With a newly designed sturdy upswept frame construct with a longer swingarm coupled with a preload adjustable rear suspension and a race inspired light weight alloy provides the Suzuki SlingShot with the perfect balance and agility for varied road conditions without compromising on comfort and ergonomics.



The Suzuki SlingShot is available in four colours – Metallic Mustard Yellow, Metallic Fox Orange, Candy Antares Red and Pearl Nebular Black.

The SlingShot is priced at Rs 46,253 ex-showroom, Mumbai.

Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL), India’s fastest growing automobile company and the pioneer of performance biking, today launched the new 220cc Avenger DTS-i. With the launch of this bike Bajaj Auto’s R&D team has yet again delivered a bike with a decisive riding experience.
The new Avenger boasts of not only a larger capacity engine but also great performance statistics like more power of 19.03 Ps and torque of 17.5 Nm. The bike also comes with a DC circuit that gives it a constant light beam at all riding speeds. Further improvements like dual density seating, battery charge level indicator on the tank, maintenance free battery etc. have been made to provide greater comfort and ease for cruising along the winding highways. The bike now also has a DC ignition system with low trigger start rpm to ensure easy button start.

Commenting on the launch, Mr.S.Sridhar, President (Motorcycle Business) Bajaj Auto, said: “I am very pleased to showcase the 220cc Avenger DTS-i. The journey that our R&D team started few years ago continues its forward march and today we have further enhanced the pleasure of riding a genuine cruiser bike. The 220cc Avenger DTS-i is an outcome of Bajaj Auto’s Research and Development (R&D) acumen. Priced at Rs 69000/- ex-Delhi showroom, the 220cc Avenger DTS-i has been launched with a stepped up warranty of 18 months.

With the new souped-up Avenger joining the immensely successful Pulsar range, Bajaj’s stranglehold of the Premium motorcycle segment will be further strengthened.
